Wedding Ceremony – Thomas and Julia’s Wedding Day Photography in Perth and Lanark Ontario

October 22nd 2011 – Wedding at The Parish of St James the Apostle in Perth Ontario

Last wedding of the year…..feeling sad about that but Julia and Thomas’ Wedding Day will be the PERFECT way to wrap up this year’s Wedding season. They connected so well together in front of the camera, it was a pleasure to photograph their entire wedding day – the bride and groom’s day started at Code’s Mill on the Park Inn & Spa with Julia getting ready in one room and Thomas in another, then onto St. James in Perth for a beautiful ceremony…after the ceremony we travelled to the family cottage and a neighbour’s barn for some amazing location photographs and the ended the perfect day at one of my FAV venues…..the Lanark Timber Run Golf Course and Banquet Hall.
…the bridesmaids were amazing (hugs to all of you:)), the groomsmen were fun – and a special thanks to Susan and all the staff at Timber Run (you are wonderful).
Wedding Bliss is all I can say about Julia and Thomas. The mood that is captured between these two is a joy to work on. When Thomas kisses Julia you can see in the photo the “awwww” she is feeling. Are they connected…….I say…..yes…to the depths of their soul. :)

Wedding Vows Renewal – Shannon and Eric’s wedding vows renewal at beautiful Boldt Castle (New York) on the St. Lawrence

A LOVE STORY with HEART

Shannon and Eric were married about a year ago but their wedding photos were a huge disappointment to them. Blurry, unprofessional and unromantic. This disappointment in their wedding photos has continued to haunt Shannon……so what did her amazing husband say?……well let us do them again! Yes I know……an awww moment for sure.  So Shannon checked out romantic locations on the web….Boldt Castle was her choice (they have never been there but loved the romance and unique venue of “Heart Island”) …..so romantic!!
Great weekend! Left Friday afternoon with my honey to stay overnight in Watertown New York. Woke up on Saturday and we were off to Boldt Castle to meet Shannon and Eric. 40km winds, intermittent rain, cold and Sam’s boat ride to Heart Island….yikes. Sounds like a “train wreak” for photos BUT Shannon and Eric were FABULOUS!!  We ran outside when it was not raining for some glorious photos….then ran back inside when the rain started…..we rehearsed this quite a few times :)

The Brides details were magical and so fitting for Boldt Castle, the Maid of Honor and Best Man…charming, Bride & Groom….loved every minute with them. A warm fire was burning for us inside….a special thanks to the staff. I think Louise Boldt would have been thrilled to have such a beautiful girl dress in her room. Thanks Shannon and Eric!
